Tree Plantation at the Butterfly Forest as a part of Mission 80

Thuvakkam, in association with Chennai Cyclists, brought families and volunteers together at Butterfly Forest, Taramani, for a meaningful green action! As part of Mission 80 – Freedom Through Impact, 25 volunteers came together with their families to plant 60+ native saplings, adding more life and greenery to our urban landscape.

Zero Hunger Drive at New Delhi

A simple meal can bring hope, dignity, and a smile.

Our Zero Hunger Drive at Chhatarpur brought together 15 passionate volunteers from Cognizant and from Team Thuvakkam, united by a common purpose—to ensure that no one goes hungry. We distributed over 100 food packets, reaching homeless individuals in Chhatarpur and around Chhatarpur Metro Station. Over 16 volunteers came together to serve the community.

Tree Plantation in Kundrathur onset Mission 80

Thuvakkam successfully planted 1,500+ indigenous saplings with the support of 300+ volunteers at PKV Mahanagar Extension, Kundrathur, as part of Mission 80 – Freedom Through Impact. We were honoured by the presence of Mr. V. Nalla Sivan, IAS – Revenue Divisional Officer; R. Suma – Municipal Commissioner, Kundrathur Municipality; K. Sathiyamoorthy – Chairman, Kundrathur Municipality; Municipal Engineer and officials from Kundrathur Municipality.

A heartfelt thank you to the amazing volunteers who came together to make this initiative a success. This impactful plantation drive was made possible through the collaborative efforts of our CSR Partner – Genesys and our Government Partner – Kundrathur Municipality.

Thuvakkam Sangamam 2026- Stepping into 13th successful year

We at Thuvakkam celebrated the Thuvakkam Sangamam 2026 as our 13th Foundational year at Chennai on 15th August 2026 with our beloved teammates. We shifted the focus into a fun and more expressive way as we rocked the stage with the immense talents pooling into the Iyal, Isai and Nadagam themes, where we sang together, danced together, acted together, and set the stage on fire.

As our traditional practice from the 10th foundational year, we also honored the Changemakers who play an impactful role in society under the Be the Change Impact Awards 2026.
