Thuvakkam proudly inaugurated the School Infrastructure Development Project in partnership with Applied Data Finance at Government Higher Secondary School, Tiruvenchery, on February 28, 2025. A smart board was digitally inaugurated in Grade 7, enhancing students’ learning experience and a RO water system capable of filtering 500 liters of water every day.

Thuvakkam is proud to announce the successful restoration of a 19-acre lake in the Panchayat of Sethuppakam. This project involved deepening the lake by an additional 5.5 feet, significantly increasing its catchment capacity more than threefold. As part of the initiative, 2,000 saplings were planted along the bund to support environmental sustainability.

Thuvakkam in collaboration with the Sothern Railways and the CSR partners TAG and RRD in creating an Urban Forest In the neighbouring of Perambur! Spread across 33,000 sq ft & 22,500 sq ft respectively! Thuvakkam has been executing the preparation of the land by clearing the shrubs and preparing the land by addition of manure in making the field suitable for dense plantation.

Thuvakkam had successfully inaugurated the Project Greenergize in another two schools, in Thiruvanchery and Paduvanchery in Chennai in the month of February 2025! The Solar panels have a capacity of 3kW per day, which will be sufficient in slashing the school’s power consumption by the conventional means, cutting down costs and promoting a self-sustainable model.
