Empowering Communities Through Sustainable Livelihoods

Livelihood development forms the foundation of sustainable community empowerment. At Thuvakkam, we prioritize stable income sources to build economic resilience, reduce poverty, and elevate quality of life in rural and underserved areas.

Our programs create lasting employment, nurture entrepreneurship, and promote financial independence through skill training, micro-financing, market linkages, and self-help groups (SHGs). Discover our initiatives, success metrics, and focus areas driving long-term socio-economic growth.

We track progress with these core metrics to ensure real, sustained change:

  • Sustainable Income Sources: We go beyond job creation by addressing risks like skill gaps, market shifts, and poor resource management for various stakeholders.
  • Household Income Levels: Rising incomes unlock better education and healthcare. We boost earnings via SHGs, micro-financing, and entrepreneurship to bridge financial gaps.
  • Access to Resources: We remove barriers to land, credit, and markets through bank partnerships, financial literacy training, and loan facilitation.
  • Entrepreneurial Activities: We fuel self-sufficiency with mentorship, funding, and workshops on marketing, planning, and financial management.
  • Skill Development Levels: Hands-on vocational training, partnered with industries and institutes, fills gaps in high-demand fields like agriculture and digital skills.
