Tree Care Maintenance_Patel Park – Kundrathur

Reconnect with nature through a meaningful volunteering experience that combines a refreshing nature walk with hands-on environmental action. Walk & Talk with Nature is designed to create awareness about urban biodiversity, the importance of native trees, and sustainable environmental practices while actively contributing to the care of our green spaces.

During the session, participants will take a guided walk through the urban forest/green space, where they will learn about local flora, ecological conservation, climate resilience, and the role of community participation in protecting the environment. The experience will be followed by a Tree Care & Maintenance activity, where volunteers will engage in watering saplings, removing weeds, loosening soil, applying mulch, cleaning tree basins, and ensuring the healthy growth of planted trees.
