Giving Old Benches a New Life

While the benches may still be functional, their appearance can affect the overall look and learning environment of the classroom.Through “School Benches Revamp – Paint with Purpose,” Thuvakkam aims to transform these old and faded school benches into bright, refreshed, and welcoming furniture for students.Volunteers will come together to clean, prepare, paint, and give a fresh new look to the existing school benches. This simple act of painting is more than just beautification—it is about creating a positive and inspiring learning environment for children.

What Volunteers Will Do

• Sand and prepare faded surfaces where required.
• Paint and refresh the benches with suitable colours.
• Leave the school with a cleaner, brighter, and more welcoming learning space.
